I hope in this most difficult time that you will alway have only the best of memories of Gwyn, you family and all the events that we shared as brothers and sisters as we completed out college years. May you find resolve in the joy of sharing so much of life together with Gwyn and your children. May you alway know that among us all, we share your hardship and will always be there as family. HFF. Mark and family, I am so sorry, for all of you, that Gwyn has physically left your lives. But, I'm so happy for her that she is walking in heaven today. We were in the Outer Banks when we got the message she'd died and I was shocked and deeply moved knowing she was gone. I know the pain you are feeling is indescribable. Though you will continue to lead your lives day to day it will never be the same. Again, I am so sorry for your pain. She knows a lot of people in heaven and I can picture them standing in line to greet her at heaven's gate. She'll be standing there waiting for each of you someday. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her. With heartfelt sorrow, Sharon Buchanan

To The Groseclose Family, I will always remember her simile and her kindness to me ever since I was a little girl. All the Girl Scout stuff, the gymnastics and the ballet events Brooke and I shared gave me the wonderful opportunity to know Gwyn (Mrs. Groseclose) even before our family moved practically next door! Even after Brooke & I graduated high school she always took the time to say hello when she saw me and ask me how I was & what I was doing. My heart and thoughts are with you all during this difficult time. With love, Beth Sukle

Warm smiles, friendliness, and open thoughtfulness is how I will always remember her. Over the years, as I have grown up, she has always taken the time to find out how I am doing each time our paths have crossed. I am just one of many of her students that she has greatly impacted. I feel fortunate to have known her. A funny thing I will always remember about Gwyn is passing her on the street when she used to drive that huge white station wagon - being so petite, all you could see was the top of her head, with her hands gripping the steering wheel! Susan called us yesterday and told us the tragic news about Gwyn. We are crushed for you Chase, Brooke and Reid. I remember the first day I met Gwyn in Knoxville when you two were just dating. I remember how crazy you were about her when we went to Myrtle Beach and you kept calling her. Britt knew Gwyn but Donella and the girls never got the chance to know her. All of our hearts and prayers go out to you and the family. I love you.

Dear Mark and family, I was stunned and saddened to learn of Gwyn's death. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time. Gwyn was a true Christian lady, a great teacher, a loyal friend, a valuable community leader, and, most of all, an exemplary wife and mother. I am thankful for her friendship and her concern and understanding for my family during our times of stress. Your loss is great, but you do have some beautiful memories of Gwyn to keep her alive in your lives forever. May God bless you with his healing grace. My deepest sympathy to each of you. Marvin Winters P.S. Mark, you will get through this with God's help and the compassion of family and friends.

Dear Mark and family: Jim and I and Jessamyn, Jacob and Jefferson Losse would like to express our sincere regrets to your family. Gwen was a wonderful teacher, and marvelous mother and wife, and a lovely and gracious woman. When we first moved to Marion in 1989, Gwen was one of the people who made us feel most welcome. Gwen was truly nice to everyone, and her sense of humor and pride in her family were second-to-none. Please know that you are all in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss Gwen too. ej and Jim Losse and family
