Our sincerest thoughts and prayers to "Miss Sybil's" family. She was a wonderful lady, quick-witted and always a funny lady. You never had any doubt what she was thinking, because she told you what was on her mind. We will miss her greatly !! God bless and comfort you during this difficult time.

I was saddened to learn of Sybil's passing. My mother, Leda Wingfield, and Sybil shared some time at Our Lady of the Valley in Roanoke a couple of years ago. Sybil meant so much to both of us during that period and since then. Harriet, thank you for sharing your time and your mom with us; it meant so much. Her love of her church, friends, and family will always be an inspiration to us.

We have fond memories of Sybil originating from our days on the golf course over several decades. Sybil enjoyed golf into her 80's not only at Holston Hills, where she was among the founders of that club, but also accompanying Louise and me to resorts in Tennessee and at courses in Williamsburg. Until the past few weeks, Sybil looked forward to dining with us every Friday evening. She loved to dine out, and we enjoyed her company. She seemed like a second mother to us. We will miss her, but we are comforted that she is in her Heavenly Home and at peace. Marvin and Louise Leslie

Dear Family, I fondly remember Sybil for the time she worked at the Florist. When I was a child she always waited on me to make corsage for my mother. She will be greatly missed.
