Obituary of Darryl Murray

MARION, VIRGINIA: DARRYL PRESTON MURRAY, age 48, died Friday, May 14, 2010 in Martinsville, Virginia. Mr. Murray worked for Yokohama Tire in Salem, Virginia for over twelve years. He was preceded in death by his father, John Murray; brother, Kenny Murray; sister, Debbie Murray Owens; nephew, Jamie Owens. He is survived by two daughters, Ashley Nicole Murray of San Antonio, Texas and Breanna Shayntale Murray of Mooresville, North Carolina; one son, Aarron Preston Murray of Mooresville, North Carolina; mother, Lillian Murray Sexton of Marion, Virginia; sister, Donna Vernon and husband, Dennis of Marion, Virginia; fianc�e, Rhonda Sowder-Shough and her children, Evan and Samantha of Collinsville, Virginia; three nieces, Christie Vernon Wright, Julie Vernon Shumate and Staci Owens Zarra; one nephew, Dennis Bryan Vernon. Funeral services will be held Monday, May 17, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend Neville Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow at Round Hill Cemetery in Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Sunday, May 16, 2010 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
