Steve, Betty, Miss Beazy and family-I am so sorry to of the passing of Mr. Schwartz. He was a wonderful man and I so enjoyed taking care of him during his many trips to the hospital(he was actually one of my favorites...I'd always try to make sure he was my patient when I heard he was coming to the floor!). He was wonderful to talk to and always so patient. I know your family has suffered a great loss and my thoughts and prayers are with you. I consider it an honor and a priviledge to have taken care of Mr. Schwartz and to have known him. May God bless you all!

Linda, Steve, Your father was a real influence in my early years. He invested in the lives of many of Marion's kids for all of those years, being both a model for encouragement and an influence for integrity (he always let us know that he'd be watching us). I am grateful for having known him and sad to hear of his death. May God make His peace abundant to you and your families.

To the Schwartz family. It is with a great deal of pride, happiness and fond memories but also with a very heavy heart that we remember the life and contributions Jack made to each of our lives and to his community as a father, grandfather, coach, mentor and devoted husband. I must admit that of all the people I've met in my life, few compare in character and stature to that of Jack Schwartz. Jack had a profound influence on my life and also the lives of many young people from Marion and Smyth County. I will always cherish the memory of this great man. Please know we have your family in out thoughts and prayers as you pass through this most difficult time. Please accept our deepest sympathy in memory of one of Marion's finest individuals. Mike Bivens and family.

Linda, Your Dad was always a positive touch ,no matter if you would win or lose a ballgame. Just think about the number of kids he touched through his Life. You could be asured if he could not treat you equally ,he would treat you fairly. God Bless. Dale

Linda, Steve, and Family: I always remember Jack fondly. He was always an important part of Mom's family when I was growing up. I am sorry for your loss and share in it though I had not seen Jack in several years. The last time I saw him it was as if I had just seen him yesterday. He was just as friendly and sweet as always. God's blessings on all of you.

I was so sorry to learn of Jack's death. Linda, Steve, and all the wonderful Schwartz family--my deepest sympathy to you in the loss of a wonderful man. I always admired and appreciated Jack's enthusiasm, skill, and knowledge for sports. His (and Ruth's) volunteer work at Marion Senior High School was legendary. I know he was a great husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and a good friend to many of us. May God bless you at this difficult time.

We would like to express our deepest sympathy to Jack's wonderful family. He was certainly known by most for his wonderful smile and kind heart. He was always reaching out a helping hand of kindness to others. Jack was so willing to help in any way. May God bless all his family and friends with the loss of such a powerful individual. Hold to all the good times until one day when we have that grand reunion with him again. Of course he is already having the time of life right now as he has reunited with his loved ones in Heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you in the days ahead.
