Obituary of J Brewer

J.RICHARD BREWER, 75 of Sugar Grove, VA, the Camp Community, passed away on January 5, 2010 at Francis Marion Manor, Marion, VA. He was owner of Brewer's Store in Camp and was a school bus driver for Sugar Grove School for over 46 years. He was a member of Carmi Baptist Church in Camp where he served as Sunday School Superintendent and Deacon for many years. He was preceded in death by his father and mother Ted and Emma Jones Brewer, his mother and father-in-law, Howard and Helen Brown; also a special cousin, Charles Brewer. He was born on April 23, 1934 at Camp, VA. He is survived by his wife of 43 years Doris Brown Brewer. He is also survived by many loving friends and cousins. Funeral service will be held Friday, January 8, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Interment in Blue Springs Cemetery, Camp, VA. Visitation will be at Seaver-Brown Funeral Home on Thursday, January 7 from 6 until 8 p.m. The Rev. John Pruett and the Rev. Kenny Price will be officiating.
