Please accept my sincere and deepest condolences on the loss of Helen. I ENJOYED GETTING TO KNOW HER YEARS AGO, WHEN I WORKED FOR DR. TRUHLIK. What a great lady she was, and I feel blessed to have known her. My heart goes out to your family. You are in our prayers and thoughts as you go through this difficult time and the days ahead.

David, Debbie and Tommy, Our hearts go out to you during the loss of dear Helen. She was truly a great lady and I have such fond memories of when we used to be neighbors and when you took us to Carowinds that time. I really admired Helen for the way she lived her life and always doing for other people. She was an inspiration, especially during her sickness. May God bless you all. With much love, Your Aunt JoAnn and Uncle Willie

When I was in the 5th grade, my class was given a writing project. We wrote letters to Ms. Helen who would always write back to us. She didn't just write back but pretty much adopted our class by sending us letters, cookies, and many treats from the Virginia area. I continued to write to my pen pal, Ms. Helen, long after the project ended. When I was in the 9th grade my family took a trip to meet her. My family and I were truly blessed to have Ms. Helen in our lives. I am a junior in college now, and I will always remember what a gift she was to my family and me. She will be missed, but I will never forget her.

I had the privilege of meeting this beautiful lady through her writings to my class that she adopted back in 1999. She was truly an angel who touched all of our lives, and I would like to extend my sincerest condolences to her family. Please take comfort in knowing that she is now at peace with her maker and is watching over all of you.
