Obituary of Don Cruey

SEVEN MILE FORD, VIRGINA: DON S. CRUEY, age 61, died Monday, June 30, 2008 at Smyth County Community Hospital. He was preceded by his parents, Warnie and Agnes Cruey; two brothers, Ronnie and Charles Cruey. He is survived by his wife, Nellie Wagoner Cruey of Seven Mile Ford, Virginia; two sons and daughters-in-law, Roger and Christina Cruey of Chilhowie, Virginia and Curtis and Lisa Cruey of Marion, Virginia; one sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Jim Terry of Saltville, Virginia; one brother and sister-in-law, Thomas and Kathy Sasey of Abingdon, Virginia; one half-sister, Katherine Johnson and husband, Johnny of Florida; five grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special companion, Pebbles; special friends, George Collins and Kermit Musick also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Rosco Greer and Rev. Joe Powers officiating. Graveside services will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Saltville, Virginia.
