Brenda and Donna, I was shocked and saddened to hear of the death of your father. He was such a sweet man and I have fond memories of him. Of course the memories of spending the night at your house several times when we were all just teenagers but even more recently at soccer games talking about dogs together. He would tell me about all of the dogs at the Washington County Animal Shelter that he would go and visit and he always kept an eye out for a little dog for me and would keep me posted. I know you will miss him greatly as I do my father but I have found it comforting to keep him alive through speaking of memories together, hanging on to those little things that were special to him and luckily your children are all old enough to have their own memories of him that they will have forever. One of my greatest regrets is that my children will never have any memories of my father and he never got to see their accomplishments. I know that your dad was so happy to have gotten to share in all of his gradnchildren's many accomplishments. Please let your mom know that I am thinking of her also. Ellen Wagner

Carel was a great man and i first met him years ago at the Neitchs,Charles And Eva. Family he has made it to his Heavenly home and he will be there waiting for us to come there. Look to the Lord for comfort and remember that you have your memories of him. You all are in my thought and prayers.
