Obituary of Timothy Holbrook

MARION, VIRGINIA: TIMOTHY KYLE HOLBROOK, age 47, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 in Johnson City, Tennessee. He was born March 17, 1959 in Marion, Virginia to Frances Noe Holbrook of Marion, Virginia and the late Maynard Carson Holbrook. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Marion, Virginia. He attended the University of Florida and graduated from East Tennessee State University with a B.S. Degree in Business. Tim was an avid golfer who had a passionate love for the game. He was a very outgoing, friendly person who never met a stranger and made friends wherever he went. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. In addition to his mother, he is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Maynard Carson Holbrook, Jr. and wife Kenli of La Grange, Georgia; One niece and nephew, Katie and Andrew Holbrook; One uncle and aunt, Gene and Mary Holbrook of Bristol, Tennessee; Several cousins and many, many friends. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Neville Mozingo and Rev. Jeff Lambert officiating. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Temple Hill Cemetery, Castlewood, Virginia. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
