I thank the Lord for being able to be close friends with Jim for so many years. I'm blessed with so many good memories of the times Jim and I played music together. You couldn't have asked for a better friend. I will truly miss Jim and the friendship that we've shared. I'd like to send my heartfelt condolences & prayers to Elda and to Jim's family. May the Lord be with you during this difficult time.

Jim was my dad's(Ernie Finney) best friend and like an uncle to me. One of my best memories was when I was six years old, Jim let me play on his drums while my dad played the guitar. I remember that it made me feel very important, like I was a grown up. Jim was a very special man with a heart of gold and will be sadly missed by so many. My prayers and deepest sympathies go out to Elda and to his family.
