Anne, Patrick, Beth Anne, Patrick & Families, I know this is late. Please know we are thinking of you all. I certainly feel your pain. The great memories of Dave will get you through this most difficult time. I think of him and my Dad playing golf and just hanging out. I guess they had a tee time in Heaven. What a great friendship they got to share. Just know you all are in our thoughts and prayers. Love, Toni Patterson

Anne and family, We are sorry to hear of Dave's passing. He was a great person. Sylvester enjoyed playing golf with him and he taught me a lot when I taught school with him many years ago. He was a person of integrity and honor. I know you will miss him very much, but I hope your good memories will comfort you.

Dear Anne and children, Our prayers are with you during this very sad bereavement. We did not know Dave well, but his stellar reputation defined him to us with clarity. We are glad he lived to see Beth Anne and her lovely twins settled in our neighborhood. Let us know if we can help in any way. We donated to the Cancer Outreach Program in memory of Dave. Sincerely, your church friends, Bob and Gayle Lewis

Anne and Family, I was extremely sorry to hear about David's death. I have fond memories of our growing up together in the same church. We were both members of Boy Scout Troop 15 and also went to junior high and high school together. I hope that you can take comfort in remembering the good times together. May God bless you during this difficult time and for the future. Mack Lowe, Kingsport, TN.

Anne, Beth Ann, and Patrick: I am so sorry to hear about Dave. I know what a double edged sword it is to watch someone you love slip away and also what a relieve it is to no longer see them in pain. I will alway remember Dave letting us ride on his back like a horse in the living room when I would stay the night with Beth Ann. My thoughts and prayers are with you all and I know for sure he is in good company in heaven! Let me know if you need anything at all. Love, Allison
