Obituary of K. Russell REV

MARION, VIRGINIA: REV. K. RALPH RUSSELL, age 89, died Thursday, November 10, 2005 in Smyth County Community Hospital. Born on April 22, 1916 to William Roscoe and Olsie Sexton Russell. He was the oldest of 14 children. Rev. Russell was a long time member in good standing of the Odd Fellows Thompson Lodge 88. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ina Mae Barnes Russell, five brothers and one sister. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, A. Bruce and Wilma H. Russell of Marion, Virginia. One granddaughter whom he dearly loved Emillee E. Russell of Marion, Virginia. Three sisters, Marie Russell Cale, Virgie Russell Sexton, both of Marion, Virginia, and Eunice Russell Spencer of Sugar Grove, Virginia. Four brothers, James Russell, Raymond Russell, William Roscoe Russell, Jr., and Carl Russell, all of Marion, Virginia. Several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 12, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Rev. Kyle French and Rev. Ralph Graham officiating. Burial will follow in Rosewood Memorial Gardens, Rural Retreat, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
