My deepest condolences to, Gerald's, family. He was a wonderful man and will be missed by so many... That's my fur baby in the picture with him. Her name is Carly Rae and she sure loved her Papaw. I took the picture and he had told me once that his sister thought it was the best picture he had ever taken...Rest in peace my friend. I love you. ( Jen)

I (Alma Jean) grew up as a neighbor to the Widener family for eight years. I saw some of them later in church or school. This was a good family & I enjoyed knowing them. Reading the obituary, I learned Gerald loved playing the guitar which was a surprise. I send my sincere condolences to the family. May you remember all the good times you had with Gerald Prayers for each of you. .
