My deepest sympathy goes out to the family and friends - and especially Cal and Kathy - for the loss of such a wonderful person. Mrs. Jones was always kind and gracious. She made everyone she came in contact with feel that they were special. She was just so classy! Although the world will miss her it was a long life and well lived.

Dear Cal and Cathy -
I've had your Mother's passing on my mind all last week. She was such a wonderful human being, so kind and generous in spirit. I always loved spending time with her, and your father, whenever Dave and I were in Marion. I remember the first time I met her. It was before my wedding in Atlanta. They were so happy for Dave and I and were delighted to be part of the festivities. From that point on, I took every opportunity to see them as much as I could when we were in VA. The last time I saw both of your parents was when your father was in the hospital. He was admitted when Shirley was in, after her stroke. Your Mom and I spent a few hours together talking and catching up. She was such a good friend and example, to me, all these years. I will truly miss her beautiful face, wonderful smile and positive countenance. I know you both are missing her greatly but please know that she left her mark with many people, including me and she will not be forgotten. Much love and sympathy to you both, Lisa Smith

My condolences on the passing of your sweet Mother. I had the privilege of doing some catering work at her home several times. She was always a ray of sunshine. She would call me about food and we always ended up talking about all kinds of other things. I know she will be happy to reunite with her husband. Prayers to yoy all.

Mrs. Jones was such an incredibly kind and elegant woman! When I was in town visiting mother, after church Mrs Jones never failed to come up to me and greet me with that gorgeous smile of hers!
