Obituary of Gemercial Stovall
MARION, Va.
GERMERCIAL "GERRY" STOVALL, age 68, passed away Friday, May 03, 2019 at Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol, Tenn.
Gerry was a great role model, loving husband, father and granddad. He coached and encouraged hundreds of kids during his time with the Marion Recreational Department. Gerry was a trusted professional during his time at Smyth County Community Hospital. He was active in his community, especially with the Marion Jaycees; and he was faithful to his church. He was a fun-loving guy that you just liked to be around.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Roslyn Anita Stovall; parents, William and Annie Stovall; brothers, William Stovall and Lord E. Stovall.
Gerry is survived by his sons, Germercial Stovall, Jr. of Winchester, Tenn. and Joseph Stovall of Marion, Va.; grandchildren, Deontae Taylor and Roslyn Stovall; several nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Tinkerbell.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 07, 2019 at 1 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Harry Howe and Bishop Nolan Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Round Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
