I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your loved one. When someone we love dies, it’s natural to want to see that person again. God promises us that He will comfort us in our trials if we go to him in prayer. 2 Corinthians 1:3 calls him the God of all comfort. I’d like to share with y’all this link that shows 12 steps on coping with grief that is good for sharing. I have personally found this very comforting and I hope y’all do as well. https://www.jw.org/finder?wtlocale=E&docid=102018086&srcid=share

I hadn't known Jim for too long, but as all of you know to know Jim was to like Jim. We always joked with each other, and always looked forward to working with him. I will miss Jim a great deal.

Diann, Tim, Wynn, and Family,
I am so sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He has been a great friend to me my entire life. Jim was one of those rare people that simply made the world a better place. He will be sadly missed by so many. We should all hope to have touched as many lives as he did in such a positive manner. This loss really hurts and hits close home. Sometimes we just have to believe and trust. Jim is in a better place now. He is reunited with those who have gone before and I can just imagine the conversations. Heaven got just that much better when he arrived. You will be in our prayers.

So sorry for your loss. Jim was an awesome guy. We had a running joke about him always addressing me “Sir” whenever we spoke. I know it was a term of respect from his time in the service. I know he enjoyed fishing and always gave 200% of himself in whatever he did. I think he knew everyone whether in the plant or out in town. He was always recognized and had stories related to everyone who said Hi.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time. He will be sadly missed.

I met Jim the first time I was sent to Marion in 2002. What an asset to the company - such an easy gentleman to work with. Truly one of the nicest men I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. Our association ended in 2006 because of a re-org, but in 2013 I was offered a transfer here to Marion & one entry in the "pro" column (on the "pros and cons" list - do I take the transfer?) was being able to work with Jim again.
I'm glad that I knew Jim and I know that I'm a better person for having known him. Godspeed, Jim, may you rest in peace.

Diann, Wynn, Tim and family: Please accept my heartfelt condolences for your loss. Words cannot express the sadness that I share with you all. I have always looked up to Jim who was many great things to me: my next-door neighbor, mentor and tormentor, dear friend, and basically another older brother to Gene and me. I will miss him dearly, but will cherish a lifetime of memories:
We shared countless smiles and eye-watering laughs, streams of tears and funny gaffes. We played all Spring, all Summer and Fall, and I spent all Winter dodging your snow balls. You beat me at H-O-R-S-E, Risk and yard darts; you bluffed me at Poker, Spades and Hearts. We went on outdoor adventures, swims and hikes; we rode wagons and snurfers and motorized bikes. We lit firecrackers in July, and threw eggs on Halloween; the corner of Wassona and Hemlock was quite the big scene. I pause to remember, I pause to console, I'll miss you my friend, God rest your soul!

Words cannot express the sadness we at General Dynamics felt when we heard the news of Jim's passing. He was not only our coworker but a good friend who always came to the rescue when we needed help. I will always remember the vacations we all took in the 90's to Pigeon Forge, Topsail Beach and Key West. His laugh was contagious and his kind heart a true treasure. We will miss you Jim! Condolences and prayers for Diann, Wynn & Tim and family.
