My deepest condolences to the Angliker family on the passing of Colin. I only learned of the sad news yesterday. I remember Colin fondly from the times our families spent together in Montreal and Metis years ago. He had such a great sense of humor and was a very caring person. He will be greatly missed.

Dr. Angliker brought light to those walking in the darkness of mental illness. Now, he walks in the light. He is and will always be my hero. I was blessed to have known and worked with him. I was so very sorry to learn of your loss. Dr. Angliker was truly one of a
kind.!
I enjoyed working with him.. He was always pleasant, professional and
complimentary when he thought you had done a good job.. I remember that I had several monthly reports to do for Central Office and I always sent him copies of them, he never failed to thank me.
If I encountered a problem or had a question I always felt comfortable in talking with him. Confidentially that you seldom experience in the work
place.
I always enjoyed the letters at Christmas and I will really miss them He
could sum up a year better than anyone I have know!
He was a joy to work with, and I will always remember him as, not only
a co-worker, but a true friend. My love to all the family, Edna Pennington

Served with Colin on The Belfast Medical Students Association in the 50's.
Loved meeting with you both in Wytheville on the way south. Enjoyed your company and hospitality a lot. Colin was a gentleman and a scholar--he will be missed. Our condolences.

On behalf of the Southwest Virginia Medical Reserve Corps, we want to wish you our deepest sympathy. Dr. Angliker was one of the very first members to join and complete volunteer orientation for the Medical Reserve Corps in the fall of 2004. He was a supportive volunteer and always responsive. We will certainly miss his membership and knowledge.

My dad was the most amazing dad. So thoughtful, kind, caring, gentle, selfless loving man!!! Listening to me is what he did best!!! He would give you the shirt off his back and be there for you in a heartbeat. He would always put his needs last!!! He had the biggest heart and he sincerely was one of my best friends. I would do anything to bring him back. But, I know God’s timing is always right and best even if it so badly hurts.
He was also the most awesome grandpa and all the kids were so proud to call him grandpa!!! I am so thankful for the time I had with my dad!!!

It was an honor for me to call Dr. Angliker a friend. I worked with him at SWVMHI and he was one of the most caring and honest human beings I have had the privilege to meet. My heart goes out to all that loved him. He will be missed.
