My heart is with all you boys and Matt especially as you go through this hard time. A group of guys like no other. Shawn lit up a room when he came around and made an impression you'll never forget.

I met Shawn on numerous occasions thru his brother Matt. The first time I met Shawn it felt like I had known him forever. Taken way too soon, with so much left to give and share. We mourn his death yet we celebrate his life My thought, prayers and admiration for Shawn are shared with the family. May you find comfort in knowing he lived a life full of good will and happiness.

Shawn had an awe inspiring calmness and goodness about him . I am so sad he is no longer with us. I have such good memories of him at get togethers and Farmhouse days. He was such a remarkable good guy. Sincere condolences to Matthew, family and friends.

Shawn, hearing from one of your patients that all the work and time and struggling you did to get through nursing school was such a good decision. While nursing was not a career I thought you would choose, it was definitely the right one for you. I remember the awe you felt when you came home from your first OB rotation, seeing a newborn, and how surprised you were that your classes were so hard, who would have thought! You were so smart but you where suddenly in a world that was so foreign to you. You actually had to study hard and really work at learning, and you met the challenge of it. Shaw, we miss you, but last week when we spoke you sounded happy, so we hold on to that. You, Matt, Mel, Chrissy, Chris & Rebekah completed our family and now there is an empty place at the table, but you will always be in our hearts. Oh by the way, Shawn, Jeff is still waiting on that cash you sent him for father's Day by the special 365 day delivery plan. :-) We will always love you.

My heartfelt condolences go out to the family. I was very blessed to have been one of Shawns patients.. He was such an amazing person, who showed much compassion and care for his patients..
After being critically ill for over a couple months and transferred to the best rehab hospital in the area , I was totaly blessed to have Shawn as my first nurse.. He was the right person to put in my life at this point. I was terrified as what was next, he explained everything throughly, and had such a fun sense of humor.. along with a warm caring reassurance that everything was gonna be ok.. Heaven gained a very special angel. My continued prayers for God's guidance and strength during this time... May God bless each family member..

I only knew Shawn for about a year, but I truly enjoyed playing with him...on both sides of the court. He was always smiling, warm and welcoming. My heartfelt condolences go out to your family--he will truly be missed by all that knew him.

Shawn was such a warm inviting person. We meet him playing volleyball and he was so welcoming to Jerry since he was new. Was always willing to step in play if you need a player or just sit and talk.

Matt Ring, you know that Wilburn and I loved you and Shawn very much. The years from your age 17 on, gave us memories that will always be cherished. Shawn was always so polite, loving, and compassionate. My heart is just broken, as well as yours. Twins are bonded from birth. Please know that your loss is our loss too. Both of you were our family, and loved more than you will ever know. I am proud to have had the priviledge of being a mom to both of you. Time may pass, but the memories will always be there that we were blessed to have Shawn in our lives.
