I know that Heaven just gained another great musician to entertain His Majesty and the Angels.
Glen was a one-of-a-kind person, a talented singer and musician, and will be greatly missed.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Glenn's passing! May God bless and comfort all of the family. The last time I talked to Glenn we discussed all the fun times swimming in the Carnegie school pool when we where just kids. He had a great personality and everybody loved Glenn.

I have known Glen all of my life my grandmother Cora Hayes was his babysitter for years. As adults we spoke on the phone very often. At times we would talk our childhood and adulthood. Many times he would have tears of joy about how nice people were to him. I would explain the reasons why people loved Glen so much. I will miss him very much. Goodbye cousin Glen.
I will keep your family in my prayers.

Wow !, Gary that was before I even knew Glen. When I was in a band with Glen and Gary Wolfe (Taboo), it was 1971? 72? anyway I was from San Francisco, glen drove by my house and heard me playing guitar (loud), he knocked on my door and asked if I wanted to audition. That was an amazing time of my life to play with Glen and be friends, my parents moved us back to Calif after graduation from Marion Senior high. Rest well my friend, I'm right behind you. Thank you for all the love. George Spriggs

Our hearts are heavy! For many years, Glenn (and the Blues Cruzers) provided music at the Appalachian Spirit Gallery for our July Artwalks. They always drew big crowds! He marked the date down every year on his calendar and the group practiced their sets in anticipation of the event. It is the end of what was a wonderful era and we are very sad.
Blessings from everyone at the Gallery to the whole family for your loss.

So sorry to hear of Glenn's passing. He and my stepdad, Henry Spriggs, were friends for years. And he and my cousin, George Spriggs, played together in a band in the 70's. If I remember correctly it was the Uncle Funky band.
