For the short period of time that I knew Joseph I found him to be a man of true sculpture out character of wonderful quality. I know this by the way he was a true friend to Chico (Danny Jr.). Although it saddens my heart to hear of his passing I know Danny has to be so excited to see his friend. Barbara, my hands are lifted in prayer for you. Although I couldn't be at the service my heart was with you.

Dear Barbara, we were shocked and saddened to hear of Joe's passing. We have great memories of both of you: hosting NTBMO in the community room of the apartment you shared in Salem; you playing at our wedding while Joe baked our cake. Prayers going up for you that God will comfort you and your family with a peace that passes all understanding. Virtual hugs to you.

Dearest Barbara,
Joe singing "Blue Skies" has been running through my mind the past few days. Picking weeds with Joe from a field and then spray painting them different colors to make table arrangements for a church event. Hearing him laugh when the small children amused him so. Me stirring corn meal in a huge pot for Joe while he was cooking something else...also for a church event. There are so many good memories, past and recent, it is hard to choose one! My heart is with you! I am comforted knowing God is with you, always.

Barbara,
We are so sorry for your loss. We will always remember Joe's smile, a smile that lit up the room. We will miss him, but we are encouraged to know that we will see him again. Rev. 14:13 (The Message) says, "I heard a voice out of Heaven, “Write this: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on; how blessed to die that way!”
“Yes,” says the Spirit, “and blessed rest from their hard, hard work. None of what they’ve done is wasted; God blesses them for it all in the end.”
We love you, Barbara and you are in our prayers daily for comfort and peace.
