Although his dad talked often of both his boys, I never had the pleasure of meeting Little Danny in person. But Danny told me about his love for sports and his love for the outdoors. He also told me about his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He was proud of him and Jeffrey and how hard they worked and the young men they grew up to be, I am so sorry for your loss but he is with his dad now and our Holy Father. May God Bless each of you and send comfort to your hearts.

I'm at a loss for words for my dear friend but also at peace knowing that you are no longer suffering and at home with our Heavenly Father and your family/friends that went before you. I also know that you worried about being a pain, a pest, and no one liking you but oh Chico if you only knew my friend how much you are loved and missed. You are an inspiration to so many. You showed true dedication, the meaning of true friendship, the meaning of unconditional love, unconditional support for the team you believed in MSHS, and you fought with all you have and all you are. You never really showed your feelings to many but those you did knew them and very few saw that precious smile you have and I was honored to be one that you allowed for both.
Herman, Pam, Crystal, all the family, Vickie, Kurt, Jason, Stacey, all his friends (self included) I continue to have you in my thoughts and prayers. Thanking God for the time we had with Chico for the blessing he is/was to us. And asking Him to give us the strength & comfort today, tomorrow and all the days ahead but mostly for Him to give us the reminder of our precious friends life's example and that we may continue to live by his ways.

I will forever be grateful for Chico's love and devotion for the Wagner family especially in the sports arena. He pulled for Marshall, Sam, and Margaret in every sport that they were involved in and we are lucky to have so many pictures of Chico with them in the gym or on the fields to remember him by. I would never want Chico to linger here on this earth if he had to suffer. As much as I will miss seeing him at the games, or at the grocery store, or walking through town I would rather know that he is happy, healthy, and whole.

My dearest friend, where do I start? You knew it was time to rest your weary head. But as you got to the end I felt myself being a little stubborn. I was hoping the last week of waking up was a sign you were staying with us a little while longer. Even though I couldn't read your lips it was my closure to show me that you were ok. I didn't know Chico, just heard of him. I did know that he loved sports and the Marion Football team. When this first happen I prayed and prayed very hard that Chico would come out of this. I have read so many stories about him and how much he meant to this small town of Marion and how much he love he brought to us as a town. I pray the lord will wrap his arms around his family and help them heal threw this difficult time. Growing up in a small town there are people you grow accustomed to seeing. Every time I visited home over the years I always knew I'd run into Danny. He was a permanent resident in Marion and always out and about socializing, especially at the football games. It's funny how you don't realize how much it means to experience the things you are accustomed to until they are gone. I now realize that I took for granted one of our most loyal neighbors and friends in my hometown community. I would love truly love to have one more conversation with Danny and will eternally miss his smiling face in Marion. Home won't feel quite like home without him.
