Praying for your family. Mr. Allison was so sweet. He used to bring me candy bars when he came to the office where I worked. He always said I looked like Martina McBride. He made my day every time he came in!!

Penny, I just wanted to say how sorry we were to hear about your dad! I didn't know him well, but our dad thought a lot of him and your mom. Dad loved playing and listening to your dad and his guitar! They loved the same kind of smooth guitar songs! Like genie said, it was a great neighborhood to grow up in and you'll were a great part of it. Prayers to you !!

Penni, I can only say I am so sorry. I know that you have lost more than just your father, because, I know that your daddy was your friend and confidant! I only wish that I could take the hurt away, but I know from experience, that the pain and hurt is replaced with the wonderful memories that you have made with your DAD! Ya' know, Penny, There are just no true words to put into your brain and make you feel any better about losing this wonderful father of yours. I have so many great memories of him and you and him and and your mom, the love of his life... Our neighborhood was a great one to grow up in and it surely wouldn't have been as fun and interesting if you three hadn't moved into it. And so, I will forever remember long hot summer nights when the windows were up and everybody could hear that guitar humming along just as fine and sometimes better than Chet himself... all his buddies sitting around the living room.... Those were the days. And I cannot tell you how thankful I am to have those memories. HOTCHACOLLAMOLLAHROLLA!
