Obituary of James Blevins

BRISTOL, VIRGINIA: JAMES BLEVINS, age 88, died Tuesday, August 04, 2015 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his wives, Ellen Jones Blevins and Genell Bonham Jones Blevins; parents, Ira Lee and Minta Ethel Perkins Blevins; and brother, Manuel Blevins. James is survived by a niece, Brenda Davis of North Carolina; special cousin, Jessie Blevins of Lansing, North Carolina; Betty Ehrhart, a special friend he thought of as his daughter, and her husband, Jim of Maryland; two step-daughters; and many beloved cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 7, 2015 at 7p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel, Marion VA. Private burial will be held at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, Abingdon, VA.
