Dearest Grandma Loretta and Family, God truely has blessed our family when he gave us grandparents as wonderful as you. Andy has many fond memories he shared with Grandpa Roy. Growing up calling him Grandpa Lawnmower...and being afraid of his cut-off toe. To the spelndid fishing trips where he helped Andy catch his first fish. Teaching him to drive his first car, at the Brunswick parking lot, and being oh so proud to be there to see Andy graduate. These are the times that we must remember to bring us comfort and peace. We are deeply saddened that time did not allow for us to be there with you and our family to share in the comfort of the many great stories that will unfold lasting memories of joy. However we are forever greatful for the fond memories we shared this past summer, and we will truly treasure them in our hearts forever. May God bring comfort and peace to you and yours during this difficult time in our lives. Stay strong and know that you are remembered in our thoughts and prayers forever. With all our Love, Andrew Hall and Family

We lost our husband, dad, brother, grandpa, friend and brother in Christ on Saturday morning, Roy S Hall, he is my dad, I love him, I miss him. Rachel, my beloved daughter, shared her feelings about it on her twitter account, I encourage you to read it. https://twitter.com/rachow_/status/594547657537761280 I have posted the text below as well. From Rachel Chow, Roy Hall's step-grandaughter: This morning I lost a best friend. My family is made up of a lot of people. I have family from my mom's side, my stepmom's side, my dad's side, and my stepdad's side. But I was never really THAT close to any of them. Except for my grandpa from my stepdad's side. I first met him 4 years ago when we decided to take a family vacation to visit him. He lived in the rural country of Virginia with my grandma. Because of him I learned how amazing the earth was and how to appreciate God's creation. I had a lot of good times with him, like waking up at 6am to pick vegetables out of his garden or walking down the highway to go pick up a bottle of Mtn Dew. Where he lived was a quiet and beautiful, just like him. My grandpa was a war veteran and he was a good person. He was kind, strong, and caring. Like any human being, he wasn't perfect, but that just makes him even more perfect. How can we be human if we don't make mistakes? The perfect human being isn't perfect. It comforts me to know that he was saved and passed away peacefully. I would do anything to spend one more day with him. I would do anything to wake up and drink a cup of coffee with him. I would do anything to hear him laugh at his own corny joke. I would do anything to see his smile. I am torn up inside, it feels like there's a huge hole in my heart. A part of me left when he left. But he's in a better place now and I know he's happier there. Time will be needed to grieve, but we must move on with life. I know that's what he would want. One of the most important lessons I have learned from him: To tell people you love, that you love them. Tell them you appreciate them and how much you mean to them. You never know when they're going to go. Love others and show them that you do. Thanks for everything Grandpa, I miss you but someday we'll see each other again. God Bless you Rachel God Bless you Roy

Loretta & family, We are so sorry to hear about Roy's passing. It was great to see you all on Easter Sunday....and I was so glad that I got to speak with him after church. Roy was a God-fearing, Christian veteran and a great role model for others. We always thought a lot of him and will miss seeing him when we come up to Virginia. Know that we are lifting you and the family up in prayer to our Lord for comfort and peace. We love you!!
