While I only knew Butch for a very short time I know this quote to be 100% true, "He loved people and people loved his innocent almost child-like happy go-lucky approach to life." My grandfather became Butch's nursing home roommate in April of this year and I thoroughly enjoyed talking with him each time I was there. He was a joy to be around, even on days when you could tell he felt bad. He never forgot to ask about my dad who he had never even met but who he knew was going through chemo. Butch was a very special man and he made a difference in our lives in the very short time we had the honor of knowing him. We are praying for the entire family.
