Obituary of Thomas Surface

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: ED SURFACE, age 97, died May 4, 2013 in English Meadow Assisted Living, Christiansburg, Virginia. He is survived by his wife, Anne Anderson Surface of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one son, Terry Edward Surface of Sugar Grove, Virginia; one former daughter-in-law, Judy Blevins Surface of Sugar Grove, Virginia; on granddaughter, Teri Lynn Surface of Sugar Grove, Virginia; several nieces and nephews; and special friend and neighbor, R.G. Shupe "Col." Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Funeral Chapel with Reverend Billy Gwinn officiating. Burial will follow in Slemp Cemetery, Sugar Grove, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday, May 6, 2013 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
