We are so glad we got to meet Ed the week-end of the wedding. I can still picture him sitting at the table with Opal & the rest of the family. He looked so proud & happy for his grand-daughter.

I always knew that Ed was such a good friend to me and my daughter. I always told him he never looked his age and was handsome no matter how many years had gone by. I knew he loved to hear it but it was also the truth. He always stayed in great physical shape and never hesitated to help those in need. He is truly missed and will always be a part of our family.
I trust that God will be with the Johnson family during these times and know we are praying for them as they remember to lose of such a wonderful man, husband, father, and friend.

I recall him from Centenary church and Service Cleaners and he always had a smile. when I visit Marion each time I drive past your old home place I wonder how each of you are doing. Both Ed & Opal opened their home & their hearts to care for both of our girls Jourdan & Morgan. They provided safe and unforgettable childhood memories that both of our girls still talk about today. We expected that but what we didn't expect was to fall in love with Opal & Ed and make them part of our family. We feel so fortunate that we were part of Ed's life for the last 20+ years.
