Obituary of Okla Blevins

MARION, VIRGINIA: OKLA MONTGOMERY BLEVINS, age 91, died Saturday, January 26, 2013 in Francis Marion Manor, Marion, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Blevins; a daughter and son, Aloma Deon "Donnie" Frye and Max Leon Blevins; and a sister, Fay M. Clear. Mrs. Blevins was a member of Middle Fork Baptist Church. Okla is survived by two daughters Teresa Tilson and husband, Roy of Seven Mile Ford and Lisa O'Connor and husband, Dominic of Naples, Italy and Virginia Beach, Virginia; special daughter-in-law, Delaine Shupe and husband, Bob of Bristol, Virginia; one sister, Jewel Jean M. Fields of Johnson City, Tennessee; one granddaughter, Samantha D. Deason and husband, Dennis of Stockbridge, Georgia; two grandsons, G. Matthew Blevins and wife, Becky of Bristol, Virginia and Sean Patrick O'Connor of Naples, Italy and Virginia Beach, Virginia; three great-grandchildren, Justin Edge, Ren Deason and Vivian Deason all of Stockbridge, Georgia; one niece, Ann Rose of Woodbridge, Virginia. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 28, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Roscoe Greer and Reverend Bob Shupe officiating. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Middle Fork Cemetery, Chilhowie, Virginia. The family will receive friends Monday evening following the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel; or at anytime at the home of her daughter, Teresa Tilson.
