The pain of losing someone as special as a mom can be overwhelming; I too know that pain. May your family find comfort as I have in knowing that our loving heavenly Father promises us that very soon all those in the 'grave' will hear the voice of his only-begotten son Jesus and 'rise up' by means of the resurrection. (John 5:28,29) What a wonderful day that will be!

My parents and I moved next door to Mrs. Blevins and her family when I was four years old and we lived there for about nine years. Mrs. Blevins was like a second mother to me because Max was my best friend and I was at their home as much as at my own. I have wonderful memories of Mrs. Blevins and will always have a special love for her in my heart. My prayers and thoughts are with her entire family,
