I volunteered with Mrs. Meek at SCCH and she was my favorite partner. She was always so full of wise words and thoughts. I looked up to her very highly. She will remain in my thoughts always. Prayers from my heart for the family.

We are only beginning to accept that Ellie is gone, when we have Josephine leave to join her. The two of them were best buddies all these years. Bless all of us who miss them.

Ellie, if we could converse right now, I would tell you that I am sad that you have left us, and I wish I were able to be at your funeral about 20 minutes from now. I would also tell you what a wonderful inspiration you have been to me, not just since I moved to Teas Road but also as I have listened to people tell of your coming here and what you have done for so many. Peace, Ellie. You have been a strong woman. It will be hard to glance at your house as I pass by, remembering you and Billy and the Church Dog. But now you have peace, God's peace.
