Lilliam was a very dear friend and we had known her for some time. Growing up she and John were active in our church and now we have lost two dear friends in them. There was always a smile and a joke coming from both of them, and they always had a way of making you smile no matter how bad your day was. Lillian and John Parker will be missed dearly and could never be replaced in our hearts. We are very sorry for the loss of two Wonderful and Joyful people.

I worked with John, Lilian's husband for many years. He was a very special person to me. He was lucky to be married to Lilian for many years. She was always happy and smiling. Whenever I would see her and talk to her I always walked away smiling and happy. I never saw her any other way than this, although I am sure John made her frown more than once. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed.

Dear Parker Family, I live in the house that we bought from John and Lillian in 1963. Never dreamed I would live here this long, but it has been home to my children and grandchildren. Have fond memories of John and Lillian and there's even Joe's autograph in the concrete in my basement. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Uneva Johnson

Joe, Heidi and Jason, I was so sad to hear of Aunt Lillian's passing. What a wonderful lady she was! It had been so long since I had seen her but I will always cherish the memories of my time spent with her and Uncle John and I especially hold dear our trip to Myrtle Beach. Mom and I so enjoyed having them with us. They were always such good friends to mom and dad and I couldn't have asked for a better "Aunt and Uncle." So much of my childhood is filled with wonderful memories of my time with them. Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Lillian was the mother of our minister, Dr. Joseph Parker, and grandmother to Heidi Parker Saylor and Jason Parker, and great-grandmother to Liam. When Lillian was able to visit the church, she delighted us all with her presence and humor. She was a beautiful woman, inside and out, and the congregation of First Presbyterian Church of Plano, Texas will miss her. We take comfort in knowing that Lillian is at peace,in the arms of our Lord, and together again with her husband, John and son, Jeffrey. Our heartfelt sympathy to Joe, Heidi and Robert, Jason and Kimberly, and Liam and all the family. Rest in peace, dear Lillian.
