I just happened to see Mrs. Overbay's obituary in the bristol paper today. I remember my mother speaking of her. I probably saw her when I was little. I visited her sister Daisy Poston many times with my parents. My mother's name was Lillian Ruth Webb Anderson and my father's name was Claude David Anderson. My grandmother, Alice Smith Webb was Mrs. Overbay's mothers' sister. My grandmother on my fathers' side was Nannie Lavinia Poston who was a sister to Mrs Overbay's father, Floyd Poston. I don't know a whole lot about my mother's family, I guess the Smiths that moved to Ohio or the Postons on daddy's side that moved away. I was reading something from a Saltville website 3 or 4 years ago and it was from a Dan Smith who was looking to contact relatives. His grandfather may have been dan smith a brother of my grandmother Webb. She also had a brother named chester, I think.
