Dear Dorthea, Becky and I send out sympathy to you and all the family. We appreciated seeing you at Evalene's funeral and had hoped to be at Maurice's funeral but health concerns prevented. Marcy and Dot, I was so sorry to hear about your loss. Your dad/husband was one of my very favorite people in this community. I never saw him that he didn't have a huge smile on his face, and he was always so interested in my family. He cleared our treacherous driveway so many times, when no one could get in nor out. He truly was one of God's special people, one whom we will all miss. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers. Dot,I hope you remember me. Dear Marcy, I was so sorry to hear of the death of your father. I know how much he had suffered in the last year or so and I know you are relieved that he is free from pain now. I know how much you will miss him but I also know that you would only want him here on earth if he could have quality of life. Dot,Pat,Marcie,Ellen,& Mike especially, Brother James and Louise Wassum called us this morning about Mr. Hall's death. Please accept our heartfelt sympathy. He was such a fine man and we loved him. If it were not that our only granddaughter Elizabeth is flying in from San Antonio tomorrow for a week's visit, Philip and I probably would have driven up to Marion for the funeral.
