Sam was so good to me in High School as the sponsor of Scholastic Scoops, his sense of humor and patience went a long way, he truly influnced many lives for the better. We will miss him very much in our community and church.

Mr. May was a regular at my old employer and was always so friendly. He always made me think of my own grandfather. I remember him always wearing a Notre Dame hat! Mr. May will be greatly missed! Prayers go out to his family, for you have lost a wonderful man, but heaven gained an incredible one! May peace be with you.

Lynn, Bunny, Ben and entire May family: We are so sorry to hear of the loss of you beloved husband, father and grandfather and our friend; Mr. Sam May, Jr. He was a wonderful, caring and full-of-life and happiness man. We will dearly miss talking to him after mowing the yard in the summer(s). Rest asured he is now in Notre Dame Heaven and watching down on you all with pride he always beamed with when it came to his family.
