My sincerest sympathy goes out to Sue's family. I knew her to always have a smile and be full of life, and she loved her children Suzanne and Robbie very much. She died too young, but her family should be comforted in knowing that she had such a great impression upon the people she met.

Dear Family Members, My sincerest condolences to the family on the passing of dear Sue. Although I am a member of MD Alpha Delta Kappa, I enjoyed attending many gatherings of VA ADK where Sue played such a vital role. She was so loving and caring. Sue reached out to "strangers" with such energy and a caring spirit. We truly enjoyed one another's company. Her vitality was genuinely infectious. I shall miss her terribly. You were truly blessed with such a beautiful mother, aunt, and sibling. May she rest in peace. Fondly, Ellen Roderick

I was so sorry to hear of Sue's passing. I never had her as a teacher, but I got to know her when I worked with Suzanne at Roses. She was the nicest lady and I always heard what a wonderful teacher that she was. She was someone who was liked by everyone, which is rare "gift". I am blessed to have known her. Praying for your family.

Mrs. Waddell was my 5th grade teacher many years ago. She was such a beautiful, kind lady and a phenomenal teacher. I remember three things about her most : 1) her precise, neat cursive writing; 2) her big, bright smile; and 3) most importantly, how she loved the Lord and her family! It was always evident how important her Savior and her family was to her. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Find comfort knowing Heaven has surely gained a wonderful angel, and she will watch over you 'til we all meet again! God Bless and Comfort You, Michelle Powers and family

I am so sorry for your loss. Mrs. Waddell was a true gem. Although it has been 25 years since she was my 5th grade teacher, I think of her often. In church on sunday (before I knew of her passing) I told my wife a story she had told me years ago, about growing up in WV. She was wonderful person, and will be missed by many.
