Obituary of Myrtle Greer

MARION, VIRGINIA: MYRTLE SMITH GREER, age 82, died Saturday, August 27, 2011 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center, Bristol TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Greer; one son, David Greer; parents, Biram and Josephine B. Smith. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Regina and Dale Talbert, Saltville, Virginia; one granddaughter, Mandi Vanhoozer and husband Will of Marion, Virginia; one great-grandson, Tommy Vanhoozer of Marion, Virginia; one step-granddaughter, Stephanie Taylor and husband, Kevin of Saltville, Virginia; two step-great-grandsons, Jacob and Bryson Taylor of Saltville, Virginia; several nieces, nephews and cousins; special cousins Ethel Louthian and husband Harold and Polly Street; special friend Mary Blevins. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Bob Surber officiating. Burial will follow in Thomas Cemetery, Marion, Virginia.
