Obituary of Nellie Wilson

MARION, VIRGINIA: NELLIE WASSUM WILSON, age 87, widow of Kenneth C. Wilson, died Monday, July 11, 2011 in Smyth County Community Hospital. She is survived by one daughter, Karen W. Montford of Spring Glen, Pennsylvania; one son, James M. "Jimmy" Wilson II of Abingdon, Virginia; one brother, Maitland Wassum of Wytheville, Virginia; and two grandchildren, Brooklynn Rowland Scholze and Kenny C. Wilson. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Doctor Mark Ross and Reverend Neville Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family will receive friends Thursday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Marion Baptist Church, 1258 North Main Street, Marion, Virginia 24354 or to Hospice of Southwest Virginia, 600 West Ridge Road, Wytheville Virginia 24382.
