Obituary of Joseph Blevins

CHILHOWIE, VIRGINIA: JOSEPH DALE BLEVINS. A graveside memorial service with military rites provided by Marion VFW Post 4667 will be held for Joseph Dale Blevins on September 24, 2011 at 2 PM at Macedonia Baptist Church, 1183 St. Clair's Rd, Chilhowie, VA, with Reverend Andrew Bansemer of Ebenezer Lutheran Church officiating. Mr. Blevins was a native of Chilhowie. He enlisted in the armed forces in 1950 and served his nation in the Korean War. Mr. Blevins ran several businesses in his lifetime and was a longtime resident of Martinsville, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Marion VFW Post #4667, P.O. Box 767, Marion VA 24354. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
