Obituary of Donna Sexton

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: DONNA RAE ROSEN SEXTON, age 67 died May 1, 2011 at her home in Atkins, Virginia. She was born September 28, 1943 in Fort Dodge, Iowa to the late Erick and Esther Rosen. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Edgar Rosen and one sister, Carrie Rosen Hamann. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, William C. "Bill" Sexton, Jr. of Atkins, Virginia; two sons, John Mark Sexton of Valdosta, Georgia and Andrew Walter Sexton and wife, Veronica of Florence, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Julia Sexton of Marion, Virginia, Jackson Sexton of Visalia, California and Chase Hutton of Florence, South Carolina; four brothers, Norman Rosen of Fort Dodge, Iowa, Dan Rosen of Vienna, Virginia, Clifford Rosen of Hampton, Virginia and Joel Rosen of Abingdon, Virginia; one sister, Judith Rosen Poffenbarger of Omaha, Nebraska; beloved pets and special friends loved as family also survive. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend William Schoeneman, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
