Obituary of Eunice Vipperman

ATKINS, VIRGINIA: EUNICE HESS VIPPERMAN, age 86, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at her home in Atkins, Virginia. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by a great-grandson, Brandon Coley. Eunice is survived by her husband of 62 years, James Walter Vipperman, Sr. of Atkins, Virginia; one daughter, Martha Larmer of Atkins, Virginia; two sons, James Walter Vipperman Jr. and wife, Brenda of Bland, Virginia, Herman Dewey Vipperman of Rural Retreat, Virginia; one sister, Lue Parks of Rich Valley, Virginia; three brothers, Garland Hess of Bristol, Virginia, Marvin Hess and Eugene "Dope" Hess, both of Saltville, Virginia; three grandchildren, Maria Diane Caudill and husband, Everett, Michele Hammond and husband, Chris and Jamie Vipperman; three great-grandchildren, Jessica Caudill, Kristen Caudill and Tyler Hammond; many nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Friday, May 6, 2011at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Jim Lundy and Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Blue Springs United Methodist Church Cemetery in Camp, Virginia. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. The Family would like to express appreciation to Home Nursing Company, Home Health and Hospice of Chilhowie, Virginia and other caregivers who became very special friends in addition to being excellent caregivers.
