Learned of Trulas passing from my brother Jim. Was so sorry to hear. I have fond memories of Trula from our working together for a little while at Raven Drug Company. My full time job was for June and Charles at Raven Super Market, and every other Sunday for Jack at the Drug Store. My prayers go out to you JC and your son ALan and to Jean. Also have fond memories of the Franks family.Am sure your and Harveys ears burned several timew, as you all were often remembered in our family. Charlotte B. Compton. .

JC, Alan and Jean Sylvia and I have been in Northern Virginia with our grandchildren and we just, today, saw Trula’s obit in the local paper. Had we been here, we would have liked to have visited the funeral home and spoke with you in person. Please know that you will be lifted up in our prayers as you deal with this great loss. I have so many fond childhood memories of Trula and the Smith family, the Franks family, growing up and attending school with Jean, building model airplanes at the Frank’s Hollow home with JC, and always admiring Harvey for being a Marine. I am so sorry for your loss. My Mother, Agnes Reedy Lankford, worked and lived with Ms Trula during WWII. She often spoke of their lives there. They stayed in touch throughout the years. Mother considered Ms Trula one of her best friends. You all are in my prayers. God Bless You
