Obituary of Rebecca Dunford

MARION, VIRGINIA: REBECCA LYNN GREER DUNFORD, age 47, died Saturday, March 5, 2011 at her home. She was born July 15, 1963 to the late Roy and Stella Marie Baldwin Greer. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Faune Dunford and two brothers, Michael "Humpy" Greer and Ralph Greer. She is survived by her husband, Richard Dunford of Marion, Virginia; one daughter, Kayla Doane of Chilhowie, Virginia; four sisters, Ann Kirk of Speedwell, Virginia, Connie Anderson and Shelia Hill both of Marion, Virginia and Kaye White of Mantee, Mississippi; three brothers, Wade Greer of Marion, Virginia, James "Bear" Greer of King George, Virginia and Ray Greer of Rural Retreat, Virginia; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 7, 2011 at 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
