Obituary of Nathan Combs

MARION, VIRGINIA: NATHAN CORD COMBS, age 18, died Friday, March 11, 2011. Nathan wanted to be everyone's friend and he never knew a stranger. His friends called him "The Clown" because he made everyone laugh. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Norman Whitt, Henry and Lola Combs and Jimmy Bridgeman. Nathan is survived by his parents, Pete and Norma Combs; one sister, Courtney Danielle Combs; one brother, Vincent Andrew Combs all of Marion, Virginia; his grandmothers, Wanda Whitt of Marion, Virginia and Toni Bridgeman of Elkin, North Carolina; special friend Jeff Heath of Marion, Virginia; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
