Obituary of Ethel Anderson

SUGAR GROVE, VIRGINIA: ETHEL SHUPE ANDERSON, age 92, of Richmond, went to be with the Lord, Monday, March 14, 2011. She is survived by her children, Douglas L. Anderson and his wife, Mary Ellen; Lois A. Loving and friend, Ben Mattox; Ronald L. Anderson and his wife Joan; and Faye A. Vines all of Richmond; one brother, Roy G. "Colonel" Shupe of Sugar Grove, Va.; one sister, Erma S. Adams of Oklahoma; numerous grand and great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Ethel was a member of Grove Ave. Baptist Church and a retired employee of Miller and Rhoads. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Billy Gwinn officiating. Burial will follow in Hutton-Cox Cemetery in Sugar Grove. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
