Obituary of Avery Coley

MARION, VIRGINIA: AVERY GRACE COLEY, infant daughter of E.T. and Becky Coley grew her Angel Wings on Saturday, February 12, 2011 in the Niswonger Children's Hospital, Johnson City, Tennessee. The family knew at 20 weeks that sweet Avery Grace would have the medical condition of Dwarfism. They continued to be optimistic for her birth and prayed fervently for healing of her physical body. They were unaware at the time that she would become their miracle baby. In her brief life of 3 short days, this small little girl made a tremendous impact upon the lives of many. Avery Grace changed their lives forever. Her family awaits with joy the day when they will be reunited on the other side with Avery Grace in her perfect body. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Hai and Barbara Tran of Meadowview, Virginia and Roger and Martha Coley of Marion, Virginia; her great-grandparents, Lois Sexton of Marion, Virginia and Dong and Tinh Tran of Saigon, Vietnam; aunts and uncles, Amy Tran and husband, Jeff Burner of Mt. Jackson, Virginia, Chris Coley and wife, Michelle of Chilhowie, Virginia, Brian Coley and Dwayne Coley both of Marion, Virginia; a host of cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. at Cedar Bluff Baptist Church with Reverend Eddie Beck officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the church. Private burial will be held in Rose Lawn Cemetery, Marion, Virginia. The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to the amazing staff of nurses and doctors at Niswonger Children's Hospital and Johnson City Medical Center. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Niswonger Children's Hospital, 400 N. State of Franklin Road, Johnson City, Tennessee 37604.
