Obituary of Florida Haulsee

MARION, VIRGINIA: FLORIDA AKER HAULSEE, age 82, died Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Valley Health Care Center in Chilhowie, Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, A.W. and Cora Kegley Aker; brothers, Howard and Hobert Aker; half-brother, Paul Aker; and sister, Louise A. Lee. Mrs. Haulsee is survived by her husband Harold Guy Haulsee of Marion, Virginia; two sons, Darrell Haulsee and wife, Mary Anne of Glen Allen, Virginia; Donald Haulsee and wife, Kay of Claremont, Virginia; one sister, Lula Mae Hawthorne and husband, Coy of Greensburg, Kentucky; sisters-in-law, Shirley B. Aker and Dolores S. Aker; six grandchildren, Alison Haulsee, Christopher Brian Haulsee, Kevin Vanatta Haulsee, Meg Vanatta Gomez & husband, Rafael, Brenna Vanatta Haulsee, Sarah Elizabeth Shott; two great-grandchildren, Virginia Huband and Mireya Gomez; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 28, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Reverend Mike Teague officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
