Obituary of Martha Shelton

MARION, VIRGINIA: MARTHA LOUISE SHELTON, age 82, died Sunday, February 27, 2011 in Bristol Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Church of God, Marion, Virginia. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Monica Michelle and two brothers. Mrs. Shelton is survived by four daughters, Rosa Lee Starnes and husband, Forrest of Laurel, Maryland, Rose Ann Shelton of Bristol, Tennessee, Mary Linda Shelton of Bristol, Virginia and Bobbi Yarber and husband, Jerry of Glade Spring, Virginia; two sons Billy Shelton and wife, Linda of Bristol, Tennessee and Danny Wayne Shelton and friend, Shirley of Galax, Virginia; one sister, Mary Trainum of Owings, Maryland; fourteen grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren; special friends and helpers, Crickett Rose, Vicki St.Clair and Geneva Brown; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with Pastor Shawn Womack officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 p.m. until the time of the service at Seaver-Brown Chapel.
