To My Family: Though we could not be with you on this very sad day our hearts and memories are with you. Aunt Midge was one of a kind who always opened her heart and home to us and our family. She will be missed but we know her beliefs have lead her to a better place to be with all who were waiting for her especially Uncle Preston who must now have a big smile on his face. We love you all. We send our love and prayers to all members of Mildred's family. She was a beautiful person -- kind, warmhearted, intelligent -- who seemed to give love without judgment. I know her absence will leave a gap in your day-to-day lives. However, what an inspiration she will always be for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

I am sorry to hear about Mildred's passing. When I got married she give me a piece of her Rat Tail Cactus that had been a wedding gift to Preston and Mildred when they got married. It was so cool and it did really well. After the first year it produced the biggest bloom. It was about 10 inches long and a deep pink color. I was so excited to tell Mildred only to find out hers had never bloomed! Within 2 days of mine blooming it died. So, I guess she was lucky hers didn't bloom. I'll always have that story, a fond memory of one nice lady. My heart is with you during this sad time. Laura
