Obituary of William Wood

MARION, VIRGINIA: WILLIAM "Bill" M. WOOD, age 77, died Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Smyth County Community Hospital, Marion, Virginia. He was born March 23, 1933 in Wilkes County North Carolina; and was truly a great man. Mr. Wood is survived by his wife, Treva "Tootsy" Hash Wood of Marion, Virginia; six brothers; one sister all of North Carolina; good in-laws and many dear friends on Greer Avenue and Matson Drive in Marion, Virginia. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Reverend Neville Mozingo officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery.
