Obituary of Jennifer Buchanan

GLADE SPRING, VIRGINIA: JENNIFER GAY BUCHANAN, age 35, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at her home. She was born January 17, 1975 in Mercer County, West Virginia to Betty Atkins of Falls Mills, Virginia and David Buchanan of Bluefield, West Virginia. Jennifer graduated from Montcalm High School. Survivors include her son, Michael Buchanan; her life companion of 16 years, Joey Steele, both of the home; five sisters, Rebecca Mills and husband, Steven of Sophia, West Virginia; Cathy Kelley of Union, West Virginia; Shirley Burkett and husband, Mike of Princeton, West Virginia; Amanda McPherson of Goochland Virginia; Regina Sebera of Petersburg, Virginia; one brother, Robert Buchanan of Bluefield, West Virginia; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends also survive. Family will receive friends Friday, December 10, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel in Marion, Virginia. Graveside Services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Roselawn Cemetery in Princeton, West Virginia. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
